Hello,
Thank you for your question,
I’m Dr. Saha and I’ll try to help you.
Is there any pain or any other symptom?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No other pain
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 years ago.
Thank you for the information,
Small purplish dot can be due to a few reasons.
There can be a bleeding spot.
This can occur without any identifiable cause.
There can be minor trauma which you may forgot.
Infection or inflammation of follicle, bite can cause dot in early stage.
But they would usually cause pain.
You can wait & watch now.
If you feel pain or if the number of dots increase in number or size, I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.

Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 years ago.
I though you are asking whether the spot has anything to do with frequent infections.
Did you have any test for frequent infections?
Did you consult any specialist?
What treatment was prescribed?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I want to know what you think May be causing the frequent infections
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 years ago.
Frequent infections of the sinus can be from chronic sinusitis.
There can be an obstruction to sinus drainage.
There can be polyp, deviated septum.
Frequent infections can occur if there is immune deficiency.
Immunoglobulin levels can be checked along with blood counts.
Endoscopy, biopsy, CT scan, swab for culture can be taken.
Different specialists can be involved like infectious disease specialist, ENT, gastroenterologist.
