Thank you for your question,
I’m Dr. Saha and I’ll try to help you.
Swollen lymph node can be from a bacterial or viral infection.
Viral infection usually subsides in a week.
A throat swab, blood count would be helpful for diagnosis.
Till you see doctor, you can take tylenol cold.
This would help in running nose, any pain.
Nasal saline drop can be used.
Please keep the room humidified & take plenty of fluid.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
