Customer Question

A few hours ago I experienced a burning (fiery) feeling in the inner lower quadrant of my left breast and just below. It lasted a minute or two then went away.
It was quite scary.
Now nothing.
But I've never experienced anything like it before.

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
The pain has subsided which is unusual if heart related.
Heart related angina pain usually persists longer and may resume with any physical exertion.
So less likely.
More likely possibility can be due to the nerve irritation.
Intercostal nerves supply the area and can get pulled or irritated sometimes from bra, lifting, lying or twisting position.
That can cause similar pain.
However, I am unable to examine you online.
So a clinical confirmation is needed at urgent care or with your doctor.
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us today. If you have any additional questions or need further clarifications, please do not hesitate to ask. I am here to answer them. I wish you good health. Regards, ***** *****
