Customer Question

Good afternoon Dr. Lam
My husband is experiencing dizziness, plugged ears, and food smells bad to him, plus he doesn't want to eat anything. What might be causing these symptoms?
His head feels full and his hearing is very poor plus he sleeps all day. He has fits at night where he has jerky movements while sleeping. I wonder if it's a brain disorder?
Thank you,

Hi Maria and sorry for the delay
Has he had an MRI scan of his brain and his sinuses?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
He had a sinus scan (MRI), but no response yet. He is being referred to a neurologist, but I am sooo worried about him now.

I understand--his doctor had no ideas at all?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Nothing. Tomorrow, he has a hearing test and we'll see what the ENT says.Thank you. Good night.

Maria--this sounds like a chronic sinus infection which I'm sure the ENT will find. He needs a course of antibiotics.
Let me know how it goes
