This answer was rated:

I was bitten by a tick on Sunday afternoon after having taken a long walk in fields.
The tick was removed by my fiance using tweezers. It appears that all of the tick was removed. We examined the tick under a magnifying glass and it was not engorde. There wasn'ty any blood.
The puncture wound on my arm is slightly pink.
I tried to reach my doctor by phone but it does not appear to be working*****.
What should I do?
Grateful for your advice,
Hi--the tick needs to be engorged and embedded for at least 24 to 36 hours to transmit Lyme disease if that's your concern here so really there's nothing to worry about but let your doctor know about this when you can.

Thank you. That's what I thought but at the same time, considering the risk, I just wanted to make sure that drugs were not necessary.

My pleasure Deborah but please remember to rate my service to you
