My daughter 3 years old has been scratching her head for 2 weeks on and off
I cannot see anything on her scalp with the naked eye I changed shampoos but the problem persist. It is not like she is scratching constantly but a few times a day she complains about it some days no complaining but scratches.
What can it be and what can I do to combat something I don't see
No scaling or larks what soever
Any dandruff?
Any hair loss?
Does she scratch on other parts of body as well?
Oily scalp?

I did write no signs of anything no scaling (no Dandruff) nothing no marks
No hair loss and no other parts of body.

I understand your concern.
And as you describe, possible causes of such itchy scalp may include Seborrheic dermatitis,Fungal infection.
And this is very unlikely to be a serious medical condition if it is localized to the scalp. This should be reassuring.
However as she is suffering from last few weeks so her symptoms shouldn't be ignored and it's good to see her Pediatrician for a clinical examination.
In the meantime, I would probably try some Benadryl to see if that helps the itching.
If this is not helpful, you can ask about a steroid shampoo such as Capex shampoo but please make sure her Pediatrician has seen her first.
I hope this helps.
If you have any further query then feel free to ask.
Thank you.

Wouldn't there be a signor appearance of something?

She is three years old Hair is long and never had it cut

She takes regular baths Is it possible hair is getting heavy pulling on scalp? It is down to her but.

Thanks for follow-up.
As she takes regular baths,so such long hair doesn't cause itching, scratching on scalp.
She needs to be seen by a doctor for a clinical examination rather than consider wait & watch approach.
You should give her benadryl syrup for symptomatic management of the itching.
I hope this helps.
If you have any further query then feel free to ask.
Positive feedback and bonus are highly appreciated.
