I have had a headache for over a week. I went to the doctor

This answer was rated:

I have had a headache for over a week. I went to the doctor on Thursday. She prescribed levofloxacin and methylprednisolone, and cambia with replax ( for the intence headache). The last two made me throw up with no relief. The headache lessened but is still there. I don't get headaches so I'm a little concerned. Should I have gotten relief by now? After 3 days. I also am getting a reaction from something. I have little red spots on my torso that seem to be getting worse. Is this a reaction I should be concerned about?
Thank you for your time.
Do you have stuffy nose, sore throat?
How much dose of Levofloxacin and methylprednisolone have you taken?
Are your symptoms improving with medications?
Associated itching with red spots?
Do you have such red spots after starting medications?
Any other medical history?
Are you taking any other medications?

I have very bad allergies. My nose is always running and stuffy. No sore throat or other symptoms. I have taken 3 days of meds. The symptoms are only a little better. No itching with the red spots. They look like small blood specs. I noticed yesterday evening. I have mitral valve polapse and IBS. I can not take some meds, like decongestants, makes my heart race. I take prilosec and lomotal on a regular basis.I've been on those for some time.

Thanks for providing more information.
I understand your concern and skin rash can be associated with Levofloxacin.
You need to see your doctor again and if required your doctor may discontinue Levofloxacin and opt for other medication.
Also apply calamine lotion or OTC 1% hydrocortisone cream on such spots.
You need to undergo Complete blood count,ESR,Prothrombin time for further evaluation to rule out low platelet count(Thrombocytopenia).

I hope this helps.
