How long to wait before colonoscopy performed
Thank you
Hi--your age and was this a traditional repair from the outside or a laparoscopic repair? Why do you need the colonoscopy?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Routine screening

OK--I'd give it about four weeks just for the repair to set in before the colonoscopy was done. That said, if you needed an urgent colonoscopy for other reasons, I don't think the procedure done now would necessarily do any harm to the repair, but since it's elective I'd do it in about a month.
