Hi there,

I am Mysticdoc, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to help you with your concerns.

mysticdoc :

The platelet count has to be above 600k besides other criteria to diagnose primary thrombocytosis.

mysticdoc :

Bone marrow aspiration is also required to establish the diagnosis.

mysticdoc :

Headaches can be a presenting symptom but this can be caused by other benign causes as well like tension headache.

Customer: My platelets are over 600 and I recently had a large swollen bruise on my ankle it was there over a month and now has gone. If I rest and be still i feel better Should I contact my doc?
