I've been having Left-side flank pain for about a week now. Dull, non-radiating px. I've had a hx of renal calculi last year (5mm stone of calcium oxilate) That stone I felt immense px for 2 days and on the 3rd day I passed it. But this pain is much less for longer. Possible kidney infection? Or larger stone that hasn't gone into my ureter yet? I'm a 23 y/o male with a active lifestyle (Hospital corpsman in the Navy) Any feedback or info would be great.

Hi,

Thanks for providing additional information.

As per your description,it may be possible to have renal calculi recurrence which is causing flank pain.

Sometimes sludge formation in kidney can result in such pain.

As you are suffering from last week and pain killers are giving temporary relief so in my opinion, you need to be seen by your doctor for a clinical exam and undergo Urinalysis,Ultrasound/CT scan whole abdomen.

Other potential differential diagnosis may include Muscloskeletal pain,Irritable bowel syndrome.

Hope this helps.
