I noticed the color like a week ago.

my nails have always been a pink color and the bed a little darker pink but now its a little purple in tint. more gradual but since I quit smoking its gotten better

mostly in the thumbs

no other symptoms and I just have schizoaffective disorder and sensory processing disorder.

its like a pinkish red purple color.

Thank you Nicole, for the information,
The color of the normal nails are pinkish.
It is abnormal when it is pale, white, blue etc.
Pink color suggests a good blood supply & hemoglobin level.
Smoking can have health effects like bronchitis where there can be a bluish discoloration.
But this is seen in long time smokers usually after years.
Smoke of cigarette can discolor nails.
As it is improving after quiting, it can be due to smoke.
I think yours nails are normal in color & you should not worry.
I hope this information helps.
I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.
