This answer was rated:

Yellow stool and nausea for months. Can see undigested foods (normally vegtables) in stool. Stool smells like vomit.
Thank you for your question,
I’m Dr. Saha and I’ll try to help you.
When did all those symptoms start?
Which blood tests did you have?
Did you have ALT, AST, GGT?
Did you have ultrasound or any other tests?
How many times do you pass stool every day?
Did you have stool analysis?
Which specialists did you consult?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
I had a full liver panel. I had a CT scan with no dye back in September. I have a bowel movement every morning when I wake up. They also have done a stool analysis. These tests were done by my normal doctor. The CT scan was done when I had an infection in my belly button that was reoccurring. Not sure what all blood tests I have had and this has been going on for over a year.
Did you have H pylori test?
Did you have scope?
Did you consult any gastroenterologist?
Which treatment was prescribed by doctor?

I had that test. Doctors did not refer to a gastroenterologist the doctor suggested it was IBS or mild lactose intolerance.
Thank you Jason, for the information,
Nausea can occur from many different causes.
It can be related to stomach causes like gastritis, peptic ulcer or gall bladder disease, hepatitis which are frequent causes.
But in hepatitis or liver disease, the blood levels can be abnormal.
You had these tests normal.
As the CT scan of abdomen was normal, major changes in liver should not be there.
H pylori infection can cause nausea, bloating but that was normal too.
Other bowel conditions like inflammatory bowel diseases can also cause nausea, problems in digestion.
In lactase deficiency, you can try to avoid dairy products.
IBS can be a cause.
It can cause various symptoms.
I would suggest to take a referral for a gastroenterologist as the symptoms are continuing for a year.
Gastroenterologist can take scopes, if he feels necessary.
Please avoid anxiety & stress which can worsen IBS symptoms.
I hope this information helps.
I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.
Please feel free for any follow up query.
Best wishes.
