Is it persistently present for 4 days?
Do you have any other symptom? Nausea, vomiting?
Do you have any history headache before?
Do you have any problem with vision?
Is there any tenderness on pressure?
Please enter reply.
I am not subject to headaches
and I don't have other symptoms--just occasional feeling of dizziness
it feels better if I press on the spot where it hurts
it feels like it's throbbing
Migraine headaches can occur on one side.
Temporal arteritis, cluster headaches can cause severe pain there.
But in temporal arteritis there is tenderness on pressure.
You are not having such.
Stress, anxiety can be factors.
How is your blood pressure?
haven't checked it recently, but never had a problem w it before
Sometimes other brain conditions like aneurysm, bleed, tumors etc. can cause headache there. As the pain is intense & you are not feeling much relief, I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.
Blood pressure needs to be checked again.
is it ok to wait a day or two and see if it goes away?
If you feel it is subsiding then you can wait. But if the intensity does not decrease I feel you should take an examination early.
You are also feeling dizziness with it.
ok, thank you
