i have been having a runny nose lately, not bad, but i always carry tissues now, i have to clean out my nose every few minutes, so it is not actually running that bad. i never had allergy seasons, but i noticed that when i get in a room where the air is cold i sneeze few times, also cutting grass or being in the field can stimulate it, what can i take to lesson my runny nose and sneezing issues?

I am going to assist you with your question. First I need a little more information-
How long has this been going on for?
Do you have post nasal drip?
Do you suffer from chronic cough?
Are you suffering from any medical condition or on any medication ?

yes some post nasal drip.
no chronic cough. Although may not be relevant, i have chrohn's disease. On humira 40 mg/2 weeks.
Haven't seen a doctor.

I'm so sorry to hear of your discomfort.
There are few possible conditions, responsible for such symptoms. These are-
-Infections such as viral flu or sinusitis
-Changes in weather
-Allergic cause.
It can be managed with medications-
1.Steroid nasal sprays like beclomethasone.
2.Antihistamines like Alavert 10 mg once daily (OTC)
3.Oral decongestants like Sudafed, in dose of 120 mg once daily(OTC)
Also you should drink a glass of warm lemon juice daily. You can improve your immunity by taking a multivitamin multi mineral supplement.
You should also go for Menthol steam inhalation - you can add Menthol salts (available as OTC) to a bowl of steaming water and inhale the steam two - three times daily - this will relieve the congestion.
Your symptoms, of running nose and sneezing issue would get resolve with such measures.
Kindly follow these measures, and most likely you would be free from symptoms in next 4-5 days.
