Hi Doc... Is there any chance this is a bad tendonitis/bursitis?Thanks
Welcome to and thank you for your question.
I am going to assist you with your question.
Tendonitis is inflammation or irritation of a tendon. It can be caused by sudden injury, or from the repetition of a particular movement over time. Here patient gets dull ache, especially when moving the affected limb or joint.
Bursitis usually occurs due to repetitive motions or positions that irritate the bursae around a joint. So, chances of bursitis are slim.
Considering severity of pain, chances are more for tear.
A clinical examination and MRI would be diagnostic. Please immediately see your doctor and get MRI done.
