Can you provide your complete blood count report with reference range?

What are you symptoms?

Since how long have you been suffering from?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi Doctor", sorry I can't give you a completed blood count report. Just as I said the TFT'S; FASTING CHOL/TRIG/HDL/LDL/CPK;FASTING BSL UE/LFT'S; FBE WERE ALL NORMAL . the test showed that I had slight neutropenia and a new CBC is ordered for reason why, slight neutropenia

Thanks for providing more information.

Absolute neutrophil count normal range: 2.0 to 8.0

Normal range can vary from lab to lab.
Neutropenia is a count of 1,700 or fewer neutrophils per microliter of blood.
And most cases of mild neutropenia are just generally watched.
This level get decreased in viral infections, bacterial or parasitic infections, cancer, aplastic anemia,Hepatitis,Thyroid dysfunction, etc name a few.
As your other blood work is fine so possibly it is not a worrisome.
Also level get decreased in vitamin B12 deficiency.

You can take multivitamin containing B complex which may he helpful.
Apart from this,if you are taking any medications like antibiotics, diuretics, etc then it can be a contributing factor.
Sometimes, there may be technical error if CBC has done on Automated Hemolytic Analyser.
So if you develop any symptoms or your count get lower then you need to undergo CBC manually performed by a pathologist.
Also further Peripheral Blood film should be done.

Having said this, such slightly neutropenia count is not a big concern and you should undergo repeat CBC.
I suggest you to consult your doctor for a clinical corelation of your bloodwork findings with your current condition.

I hope this helps.
