Welcome to Just Answer.

Dr. Saha :

When did you give him?

Customer: Like 15 min ago
Dr. Saha :

At this age with this body weight, we usually advise to give 3/4 tsp of benadryl about 3.75 ml.

Dr. Saha :

When some has spilt out, you probably gave 3/4 tsp.

Customer: Ok the box it says kids under 2 give 2.5 ml
Dr. Saha :

Weight needs to be considered too.

Customer: Ya kids under 2 and weights under 24 lb give 1/2 tsp 2.5 ml
Dr. Saha :

Though benadryl is available otc, but we usually advise to give it after examination by doctor.

Customer: I give it to him when he is itchy
Dr. Saha :

That is normal dose but 3/4 tsp is the maximum safe dose.

Customer: Ok
Dr. Saha :

A little overdose can make him sleepy.

Dr. Saha :

Do not worry.
