I'm a new Diabetic and I'm surprised at my will power. I am wondering how I can go out to eat and not blow my 45 carbs. I'm vegetarian as well which confuses things. I've eaten greek salads, Steamed Vegetables and Rice. I am wondering how to eat at Subway or out at an indian restaurant. I don't even know how to approach that.

Also brown rice is good instead of white rice.

I don't want my social life to suffer... Most of what we do is go out to eat. I'm trying to change that by going to a nature park on Monday...
