She is 56, smoker, no diabetes, no PAD. Hx of drug abuse, endocarditis in the early 80's, hepatitis C.

What did her angiography and colored doppler study show?
Was a specific diagnosis given by the doctor?
How is her general condition?

Dr. Arun
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

She just had some type of cardiac angiography, maybe an angioplasty. So they have decided not to do the cardiac bypass, may be too risky. Some type of doppler showed "belly clott" causing necrosis fifth toe and purple gr toe, same side. Said she would lose leg if nothing is done, waiting till tues for some type of surgical intervention to "belly clott"? also complicated by hx of MRSA. Essentially, she does not understand what is happening, nothing has been explained

The possible causes of clot and gangrene toe are;

Autoimmune disorders like antiphospholid syndrome or lupus anticoagulant.
Cancer / Malignancy
Prolonged immobilization
Nephrotic syndrome (kidney disease)

So she would need a blood work for above diseases for the ascertainment of the diagnosis.
