I'm having hot flashes and my arms and legs are on and off

Resolved Question:

I'm having hot flashes and my arms and legs are on and off itching/burning.
I've also been having other issues but these things are new and keeping me awake. I have had vertigo starting in October 2011, nerve dysfunction in my foot starting last month, pain in my calf and knee for a few weeks now same leg as the toe thing, migraines, and sometimes my scalp burns.
I'm a 35 year old female. The hot flashes have been happening about 1.5 hours now and originate in my arms/chest area. itchiness has 2 really itchy spots, and one of my whole legs. Also my arms were tingling like they were asleep

Hi there Welcome to JustAnswer website. Myself Dr Josh and I’m happy to help with your question today.
These symptoms are coming due to underlying medical issue and have to be checked by your family doctor. Possible causes are:
- Low levels of thyroid hormone.,
- Abnormal levels of calcium, potassium, or sodium in your body.
- Decrease in vitamin B12 levels.
- Pressure on the spinal nerves, or pressure on Peripheral nerves.
You will be requiring few tests ,for exact diagnosis. These are-
•Complete blood count
•Electrolyte level
•Thyroid function tests
•Measurement of vitamin levels
•Blood sugar tests.
Also ElectroMyography may be considered.
For the time, you can take Tylenol and try to rest on a firm surface. Also you can take Vitamin B complex supplements. Gentle stretching exercises should help too. You should take plenty of vegetables, fruits, water and electrolyte solutions.
I advise you to see your doctor for evaluation and get it managed.
