The most common symptom of oesophageal ulcer is pain in the retrosternal area. This means behind the breast bone. This can also cause burning pain or sore throat.

Long standing problem can give rise to swallowing difficulties due to formation of stricture in the oesophagus but this is not that common and doesnot develop quickly. Take usually years and years in untreated patients.

Yes it can cause lung symptoms because acid secretion from stomach and oesophagus to the airway and can result in hoarseness and infection in the lung. In someone getting lung symptoms hoarseness usually develop first. but as per your question the answer is yes, they can be connected.
