my husband has had 2 knots one int back of his upper arm and one on his bottom. he says they have been there a long time and they hurt a little. not so much hurt but annoying. what could this be

How large are they? Are they soft and movable?

he says they r the size of a small marble. he says he thinks they move. the one inhisbottom is inthe middle ofhis cheek so he doesn't notice too much unless he sit down just right but the one in his arm is just sensitive to the touchbut doesn't hurtto speak of. he says he has hadthem for as longas he can remember

These don't sound serious. They are probably lipomas--benign fatty tumors that can enlarge in time. If they begin to bother him the only effective treatment is to have them surgically excised.
