doctor placed brace and screws to lower part of fracture this part has healed. upper part of fracture, which lays above prosthetic stem. was wired closed. this held for a short time but not long enough for healing to take place. there is some pain but is tolerable. dr. aware of this. what is your thoughts on this situation radial nerve was affected and lies close to area.
I think if the fracture did not heal or did not heal properly then a conversation with your orthopedic surgeon is warranted to discuss the possibility of a revision surgery. This is especially true if you are experiencing pain or if your normal range of motion is affected.
