If there are occasional PVCs they usually do not need to be treated unless they are causing symptoms such as lightheadedness, dizziness, etc. Or if your heart rate is exceedingly fast because of an irregular rhythm. If it needs to be treated medications such as amiodarone, lidocaine, beta-blockers such as your propranolol, calcium channel blockers such as verapamil can be used. Also correcting any abnormalities of your electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, calicum etc should also be considered. You should discuss these possibilities with your doctor/cardiologist.
