Resolved Question:

I can't raise my right arm above horizontal. Their is no pain, and to my knowledge I've never had an injury, just a lack of flexibility in my right arm and shoulder. This might have gone on for years, but I've just started to notice it in taking a yoga class.

Welcome to just answer,
Damage and degenerative changes involving internal structures like joint labrum , rotator cuff and bones can cause limited range of movements in shoulder joint.
Detailed examination by orthopedic surgeon is required first to find out cause.
You need to get an MRI done to find out exact cause of liminted range of movements on right shoulder joint.
