Please help i have been bleeding, for the last month, some

please help i have been bleeding , for the last month, some heaveier days , other days just a wipe when had a wee, plus a pain in my right side , and itmakes me feel tired, i do work on a hospital ward , i usually put the tierd ness down to that , i have got a coil fitted been in 2yrs, im also on thiroiod pills 5mm a day. its cause i have low energy . im at th drs tomorrow. do i need to worry ,

The pain and bleeding are likely due to infection in the coil. Removal of the coil and a course of an antibiotic should be able to take care of it. The other possibilites of diagnosis are;

1) Cervicitis; infection of the cervix.
2) Endometritis; internal lining infection of the womb.
3) Fibroid uterus; these are non cancerous mass in uterus.
4) Polyp of uterus or cervix.

All of these are easily treated and not worrisome diseases.
