Customer Question

My wife's blood pressure (she is 71) is very volatile - from 90/50 to 140/80. What type of specialist should see - if any?
She does use blood pressure medication twice a day. Recently, there were a few times that she felt dizzy - she thinks because her blood pressure had dropped.

Welcome to and thanks for your question.
Well fluctuation in blood pressure can result in dizziness(Orthostatic Postural hypotension).
And she needs to be seen by her regular doctor/Internist/Cardiologist for further evaluation and management.
Her doctor may either adjust her medications dosage or opt for other medications.
Further investigations like ambulatory blood pressure monitoring,EKG should be advised as well.
I hope this helps.
