My husband had a Turbinoplasty on Friday morning and stayed

Resolved Question:

My husband had a Turbinoplasty on Friday morning and stayed one in the hospital because he has sleep apnea. He is home now and he has his nose packed and they are to remove it on monday, But he is having a lot of drainage and blood. My question is how much drainage is normal? He does not have a temp and is in pain still.

drainage is normal at this point.
Within the first 3 days expect drainage..even some up to a week.
Keep things in place
See if this decreases a bit tomorrow..if not, call the doc on call.
But so far sounds normal.
This is the removal of tissues and serous [clear or with some blood] drainage is typical at this point.
good luck
