over a week, dry white bumps either side of my nose, red flaky skin, i have MS

rosacea is a possibility
ideally a dermatologist would help you with this, or at least your primary care

This has to be visually identified before treating it but benzoyl peroxide over he counter can be used.

Metrogel [flagyl] is a cream that is effective.

Usually topical like this are tried first.

also been feeling sick for entire time eg. sore throat runny nose

Not necessarily related, but sometimes a viral infection and bring this on.
a coninued sore throat warrants a culture for strep
flu sometimes will also have rash.

is staph infection or shingles a possibility? could zostrix cream help?

Shingles would be on once side, clear small blisters, and very painful.
Staph is always a possible infectious factor, but would spread and look like it is more possible
