In infection or inflammation CRP value increases. Other important cause of high CRP is heart disease. According the report it does not seem to be due to heart disease.

Why the test was taken? What are your symptoms?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

history of family heart disesese, I do not have colestrol or diabetes

CRP is a non specific test. It denotes that there is inflammation or infection somewhere in the body. It does not pinpoint the site. If you are worried about heart disease, you can take hsCRP test. This is used to assess the risk of heart disease.
