How long and how frequently are you having the symptoms?

Do you take any medicine?

Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?

Does it occur only with yawning or with movements of the neck, cough?
Thank you.

I have recently moved and have not seen a doctor about this. I also get leg and feet spasams........I get thse spasams daily. Most of the time when I yawn I will have a spasm. Sometime not. This has been going on for about 4months. I'm trying to increase my daily intake of liquid and I take vitamin d since it was low last year. The last time I had it tested it was good. My kidney function test showed a 7.

My medication ar lisinipril 10/12 mg zocor 40mg and lorazapan as needed.

I'm not arare of any illness that I have had.

Thank you for the information.

Your symptoms can be problems with cervical or neck spine.

There can be spondylosis, disc problem or pinched nerve.

This can cause cramp of muscles.

MRI scan can be necessary.

Cramps in different areas involving leg, feet can be due to other causes.

Deficiency of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium- vitamins, dehydration etc. are the major factors.

Poor circulation or nerve involvement etc. also can cause muscle spasm.

It can also be present in diabetes, hypothyroid state but you do not have such history.

Zocor can cause muscle pain.

I feel you should get an examination by doctor.

Doctor can advise a few tests depending on clinical findings.

In mild cases treatment usually consists of pain medicines like tylenol.

Application of heat & cold can be helpful.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.

I would advise to see a doctor first to have the diagnosis.

You can consult a GP.

After preliminary examination & testing, he can refer to a specialist, if he feels.
