Hello, can you tell me your symptoms?
When did you have intercourse?
Was it protected?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
i have a non-drop fever
i had sex 0n july 29th
and i used a condom
Expert:  Pauline replied 6 years ago.
Acute infection with HIV usually takes 2-4 weeks to develop flu-like illness, so a fever this close to exposure is unlikely to be HIV especially if the intercourse was protected.
However a fever that is high and does not respond to tylenol needs to be investigated by a doctor.
