can multaq and metoprolol succinate 200 mg be used together The metoprolol is for high bp and tachicardia and is a preexisting medication the multaq is for a-fib My other health conditions are hyperlipidemia for wich simcore is used and type two diabetes that is under control with lifestyle changes

Both can be used together.

Only sometimes there can be an additional fall of blood pressure or heart rate from increased concentration of metoprolol.

But in most cases they are not worrying.

The dr. said the dose of metoprolol and the use of this drug must be maintained due to cardiovascular risk Is this combination dangerous or is this a minor issue
