What are the side effects of using co-micardis 80/12,5 mg

As you may know, there are two medications in co-micardis.
The first is hydrochlorothiazide. This component is typically very well tolerated. It can cause low blood pressure, low potassium, light sensitivity (so avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear sunscrean) and upset stomach.

The second component, telmisartan, can cause low blood pressure, upset stomach/diarrhea, chest pain, cough (uncommon), upper respiratory infections/congestion, back pain and muscle aches, dizziness, headache and fatigue.

These side effects occur in 10% or less of the people taking telmisartan.

Most people do very well with the medication. If you experience fatigue, this tends to improve after being on the medication for a bit.
