I have had a fever for three days. My temperature has ranged from 100-102. This morning my temperature was 98.6 but it is around 99.5 now. I returned to work and I am not sure if it is too soon to be back at work.
How long does it take for a fever to pass? I went to the doctor and he said I have an upper respiratory infection. The main symptom is stuffy nose.
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 6 years ago.
An upper respiratory tract infection (URI) can take 3-5 days to resolve completely. Since your temperature is proceeding towards normal and if your symptoms have completely resolved or are mild and you are feeling good, you may start work.
