Hello, and I am pleased to help, use of my answers are for educational purposes only.
Is this the first time this has happened?
Do you take any medications or pills?
What is your height and weight?
Are you possibly pregnant?

I would check a pregnancy test first,
But bleeding like this could be hormonal such as from a thyroid condition, anxiety, stress.
This could also be a fibroid or a polyp.
But, very UNLIKLEY this is anything concerning.
I would recommend a pelvic exam, a Pelvic ultrasound, a TSH thyroid blood test, a PAP smear, and since you are over 35, I would recommend an Endometrial biopsy of the inside of the uterus to make sure this is not a cancer (but very unlikely this is a cancer).
I hope this helps, Please click on ACCEPT, thank you for your questions.
