Can women take cialis. Is it different for men and women?

This answer was rated:

Is there any difference in female cialis and male cialis or they the same? Can women take normal cialis?

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.

Cialis (tadalafil) will effect women similar as to how it effects men.
Chemically, it does exactly the same thing to women that it does to men - it makes nitric oxide more available in the genital tissues. Extra blood is allowed to the clitoris and labia making them more swollen than usual and thus most often more sensitive to stimulation.

Studies have not been done in women with tadalafil. There are some doctors who have prescribed it to women off label.

Just like men, there are potential side effects, thus it should only be taken under a physicians supervision.

These side effects include: headache, indigestion, flushing, back pain and muscle aches, stuffy or runny nose.

So in other words, there is no such thing as male female. They are both the same ingredients so if she wants to try one she could, with precautions.

So can a female take a male cialis?

A female can take this medication but just like a male, should only take it after being evaluated by her physician. This medication is available by prescription only.

Sorry for being a pain. That prescribed medicine I have, cialis, she would be ok in taking after she had a physical by the doctor.

I just wanna know if there is a female one or a male one or are they the same for male and female, no difference - pill is just the same?

No, there are no two different types of Cialis. There is only one medication made with this name. There is not a male Cialis or a female Cialis. If her doctor approved her for Cialis, it would be the same one that you take, although a different dose could be recommended for her.
