I have to know some points regarding your query before answering your question.

How long is he having this?

How frequently does he get it?

Did he have any test or treatment?

Does he have any other symptom or previous illness?

Thank you for the information,

From his symptoms it appears that he is having syncopal attacks .

Syncope is a temporary loss of consciousness due to transient loss of blood supply to the brain.

In these conditions blood pressure drops, the vessels of the leg becomes dilated, pooling of blood in the periphery leads to poor circulation in the brain.

One of the common cause of syncope is vasovagal attack.

Dehydration, exposure to heat etc. can precipitate it.

It can occur coughing spells, neurologic, heart or lung problems, any strong painful or emotional stimulus.

When it occurs during playing, dehydration or exposure to heat can be possible.

Taking plenty of fluid before playing can be tried.

Still if the symptoms persist, outdoor game may need to postpone to avoid the exposure to heat.

If the condition persists, he can be reevaluated by a neurologist.

Please feel free for any follow up query.
