my mother (71) is feeling nauseous, has pressure on bladder and lots of pain on left lower side of back- shes generally healthy . any thoughts?

Good evening- my mom says urine and stool normal- she doesn't have tenderness any where just the pressure on her bladder area and lower (left side )back area

From her symptoms it appears to be due to kidney or ureteric stone or infection.

Pressure in bladder area with pain in the back can be due to those.

Urine may appear normal.

Nausea is frequently associated with urinary colic.

Another possibility is problem with pelvic organs like ovary & uterus.

An examination by doctor is necessary.

Urine analysis needs to be done.

Ultrasonography / Scan can be needed.

She should take plenty of fluid which can help to flush out the urinary system and helpful for both infection and tiny stone.

Heat can be applied too.
