Breast lump, 2nd opinion. I recently found a breast lump, on

Resolved Question:

breast lump, 2nd opinion.
I recently found a breast lump, on the side, ribcage, just beside my breast.
It is about 1 cm, firm but rubbery feeling, very movable and very easy to feel because its beside the breast.
I saw my gp and she did a thorough check and was very confident it was nothing to be concerned about. she felt it was a very normal, very mobile, round and not suspicious at all.
everything i've read online would suggest it's a fibroadenoma or maybe a cyst and that they should always be biopsied.
I still feel anxious. Should I trust my gp's impression and just forget about it or get it tested?

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. I would have it tested via ultrasound and/or FNA to make sure it is "just a cyst."
