Numbness on left side of my body is a concern. i worry a lot

Resolved Question:

numbness on left side of my body is a concern. i worry a lot (sometimes get panic attacks) and am worried there might be a serious problem. i think i have obsessive compulsive disorder / anxiety problems. (my doctor knows about this and has assisted me re: anti-depressants) i am 27 and very fit, excellent diet - TRYING to keep calm but worried! am i going to get a stroke?!

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. I am curious as to why your doctor is giving you anti-depressants versus anti-anxiety drugs. The numbness is probably a symptom resulting from your undertreated anxiety disorder, but you are right that you need to see him or her again. Strokes in 27-year-olds are extremely rare.
