I have a lot of blood in my semen but not in my urine. The first time I noticed it the semen was a overall brownish color, this time it was really bloody. Any explanation

Sorry for the problem.
Please let me know a little more about the symptoms so that I can try. How many times did you pass blood? Did you have any test?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
This is only the third time, 2 times were the brownish color, this one was clearly blood, some was spotty and some were stringy looking but bright red. I have no symptoms, no pain. The is absolutely no blood in my urine. I consider myself healty, overweight but good blood pressure, etc. I avoid doctors at all costs and have had no procedures in the last 30 years. I am on no medications, have no allergies, have not had sex with anyone but my wife since I was married 29 years ago. Hope this helps,

Thank you for the input,

Blood in semen can come from urethra, prostate, epididymis, seminal vesicles or testis. There may be -inflammation, infection, trauma or growth, Sometimes no cause may be found too. If it comes from urethra then it can be mixed with urine. But blood in the semen is usually the result of inflammation of the seminal vesicles, and it will usually go away spontaneously. Blood from seminal vesicles usually do not get mixed up with urine , so you do not see it while passing urine. If it occurs recurrently then a consultation with doctor should be taken.
