Thank you for the information,

From your symptoms it appears to be vertigo.

Vertigo causes symptoms like spinning of room, light headed, dizziness, nausea etc

There can be various causes of vertigo.

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is the most common form of vertigo and is characterized by the sensation of motion by sudden head movements .

It may also be due to the disturbances of blood supply when you suddenly move your head or when you get up or lie down.

It can be due to inner ear inflammation or labyrinthitis, acoustic neuroma, Meniere's disease, cerebellar disease of the brain, multiple sclerosis, migraine etc.

I would recommend an examination by doctor to find out the exact cause of it.

Treatment will vary according to the cause .

Symptomatic treatment can include meclizine, promethazine, diphenhydramine tablets or scopolamine patch.

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy or particle repositioning maneuvers are also used.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
