My husband had a dime sized spot of blood on his underwear

This answer was rated:

My husband had a dime sized spot of blood on his underwear this morning. he has no fever and says he has no pain on urination. Should we go to an ER? He has a history of renal failure and has BPH>
Bloody urethral discharge can occur due to injury, infection, inflammation, bleeding disorders etc. This is generally not very serious, but an evaluation by a doctor is recommended. Your husband can visit his regular doctor and get some urine tests done to be sure, going to an ER is usually not required for these symptoms.
