my 6 year old has been getting headaches latley, today she was complaning that her head hurts at the back of her head and that she can feel like thumping is this normal for her age or should i get her checked out incase for tumors?

Children can get headaches but it is not terribly common for them to be consistent like you are describing. Therefore, I would certainly take her to your provider for an exam and measure her blood pressure.
