Can a yeast infection cause sore nipples or breast

Resolved Question:

Can a yeast infection cause sore nipples or breast tenderness?

Thank you for your question.

No, a vaginal yeast infection does not lead to sore nipples or breast tenderness. Your symptoms are likely related to hormonal fluctuations. Breast tenderness and nipple discomfort are common symptoms of premenstrual syndrome(PMS) or perimenopause.

I hope this answers your question.

Well I had my last Depo shot in August and was suppossed to get a new shot on Nov 2nd but I never went. I havent restarted my period yet and may think I am pregnant. I have been extremly tired, back aches, sore nipples and breast tenderness. Also I have been having random cramping. All these are normal for me for PMS symptoms but the sore nipples never happen. I also just was treated for a yeast infection...I never had one in my life so this was also new. I had unprotected sex two weeks ago. Should the pregnancy test be positive already if I were pregnant?
Expert:  Dr Wu replied 7 years ago.
That depends on how sensitive the test is. Some brands can detect pregnancy as early as 10 days after conception. Try "First Response", which is one of the most sensitive tests.
