I have been having some mild kidney tenderness (or what I believe

Resolved Question:

I have been having some mild kidney tenderness (or what I believe to be the kidneys in the lower back) and some tiredness/lethargy in the past few days. Last night, I also had some tingling in my left hand that went on for a few hours but has since gone away. I was wondering if this is anything to be concerned about, I don't want to go in to the doctor if it is a non-issue. Thanks!

Have you been having a fever?

Burning with urination?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I have not had a fever, or burning with urination. 2 days ago I did have slighty pink vaginal discharge that has since gone away. The tenderness in my lower back seems to increase slightly after I've had a meal.

Thanks for replying.

The possibilities are:

Low back muscle strain

Kidney infection

Pelvic infection

You can try for 2 days taking ibuprofen 400mg three times a day, increasing your fluids, drink cranberry juice and hot moist packs to your back. If that does not improve or SX worsen, then I would get an exam.

I just had one more thing to add, I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not... but I have very high anxiety, I'm not sure if this worsens things. I over-worry, so I just wanted to know if anxiety alone could cause this.

Anxiety alone does not cause those symptoms but can make them worse. Even people who are anxious get ill! HA!
