I have chantix pills that expired on 11/01/07. Are they still good for use?

With medication that is 2 years past the expiration date, the effectiveness is likely to be reduced.

The expiration dates on most medications are somewhat arbitrary. They are required by the FDA and are the dates after which the potency of the tablet can no longer be guaranteed.

Personally, I would advise my own patients to NOT use a medication that was this old.
