If I were ordered to give 350mg/Rocephin deep IM using 1% lidocaine

Resolved Question:

If I were ordered to give 350mg/Rocephin deep IM using 1% lidocaine (W/O Epi)as a dilutant. Rocephin is suuplied as a powder in a 500 mg vial, which requires 1.8 ml of dilutant for reconstitution. When reconstituted, the total volume of the vial will be 2 ml.
1. What is the concentration of the medication in mg/ml?

2. How many ml,s of the medication must be administered to deliver the ordered dose?

3. Translate "1% lidocaine" to the concentration of lidocaine in mg/ml

Could you please show me how you calculated this as well?

250 mg/ml

1.4 ml for ordered dose (25 mg Rocephin per 0.1 ml; hence, 1.4 ml = 350 mg dose)

lidocaine 10 mg/ml
