I just broke a tooth in the back of my mouth tonite and I am having surgery tommorrow and want to know if I can still have general anesthesia?

HI and thank you for your question. If the tooth broke off and there are no loose fragments, yes, it will not be a problem, however if the tooth is loose or dangling, it will have to be removed or repaired prior to surgery to prevent choking, should it become dislodged.
